On Tuesday, we heard that our haulier was going to be unable to deliver due to a mechanical breakdown, and so, our best laid plans for offloading the 980kg barbed wire making machine were all to naught.
Providentially, a local business in Huntly, Dunster House, came to the rescue, and with great ingenuity, worked out a way to get the barbed wire making machine length-wise into its temporary shipping container home.
As an aside, Dunster House sell an outstanding range of high-quality sheds, log cabins, garden homes, home extensions and garages. You get what you pay for with garden sheds, and most of the mass market sheds out there are made with super-cheap featherboard, and are so cheaply built, that they tend to collapse to one side pretty quickly, so it’s good to see a company making sheds from 15mm shiplap. Super company! Can’t recommend them highly enough.
Anyway, the machine is now here. Hopefully, we’ll have some updates shortly for you on its relocation and commissioning.
